Matt Reeve - Founder & CEO

Prior to co-founding AiMSnet, I started my career back in 1989 as a telecommunications engineer for GPT (GEC Plessey Telecommunications). I then worked for several other major telecoms companies including KCOM, Ericsson and Siemens before starting my own network consultancy business in 1998.

 

In 2000, I founded Modern Networks, an MSP that focused on providing IT and Telecoms services to firms managing commercial real-estate. I sold the business to Private Equity in 2021 and led them through several acquisitions before stepping down as CEO at the end of 2024.

Then, together with Michelle Van Lelyveld we started AiMSnet, an MSP that is focused on the SME market place with an AI first offering.

With over 15 years of experience in the Managed Services industry — including a deep focus on IT and Telecoms — I have built a career around driving operational excellence, leading high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional service outcomes. My passion lies in optimizing complex service delivery environments and aligning operational strategies with business objectives to enable growth, efficiency, and client success.

 

I’ve led cross-functional teams through change, growth, and transformation, developing scalable processes, mentoring future leaders, and implementing systems that enhanced service quality and operational visibility. My approach combines strategic foresight with hands-on execution, leveraging data and industry best practices to drive measurable results.
